Sturgeon Consulting is currently seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as a Risk Management and Safety Consultant in Jackson Center, PA.
Job Summary At Sturgeon Consulting you will have the opportunity to use your talents in a wide variety of businesses, learn from experienced professionals, and work in a family atmosphere. Our consultants work as an extension of our client’s management staff. This support is provided through regular site visits and remote communication / correspondence.
Client services include but are not limited to:
Hazard assessments
Program development and audits
Employee and management training
Regulatory inspection preparation, support, and representation
Injury prevention, investigation, and management
Technical support and guidance
Corrective action recommendations
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in safety and 3 years or more of relevant work experience. Candidates with extensive work experience will enter the role at a more senior level
A valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Knowledgeable in OSHA regulations
Ability to problem solve and work independently, as well as in a team
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and quality
Organizational and time management skills

Effective trainer and public speaker
Competent technical writing skills
Ability to adapt and interact with a wide variety of client types
